EKKA 2012 - TEAM MY FARRIER AWESOME RESULT

Well done to the My Farrier NZ Team, who did a super job at the Australian Nationals held at the Brisbane EKKA last week (August 2012). The team came home full of smiles and having had a fantastic time at the competition. The effort put in training and learning delivered the results and holds them in good stead for the upcoming NZ competition circuit starting in Gladstone on September 15th 2012. (Marcel Veart-Smith to the Right of the photo)  The Results were: MARCEL VEART-SMITH 1st - Mail In Shoe Competition 4th - Open Shoeing 4th - Open Forging 4th - Open Blacksmithing 5th - Open Judges Choice BRUCE BARTON 4th - Intermediate Forging STUART CALLOW 2nd - Novice Judges Choice 3rd - Novice Blacksmithing 3rd - Novice Shoeing The team then headed to the GC for some much needed relaxation and fun for a day, seeing the sights of the coast and soaking in the rays of sunshine.
